Owl Pattern

This is a pattern I came up with when I was looking for an owl for my daughter for Christmas. It's my first pattern so bear with me! Thanks.

Body (make 1)
Round/ # of stitches

13-27/72 here change colors
28-50/72
51/66

56/36. Begin stuffing owl and continue to stuff as you decrease

61/6 finish off

Wings (make 2)
1/4
2/8

23-24/16 finish off

Ears (make 2)

5/20. Fold in half and sew to top of body

Eyes (make 2)

4/ on this round crochet 2 sc into each of the next 6 sc then turn
5/ crochet 12 sc finish off 

Beak 
1/ sc into body at position where you want the top right of the beak to begin. 5 more sc into body. Turn.
2/ 6 sc turn
3/ dec, 2 sc, dec turn
4/ dec, dec finish off. You can tack down end of beak or leave it loose

Feathers on body
I did these by crocheting into the body like I did the beak on the first row then turning.
1/3 sc into body, turn
2/1 sc, 2 sc into space between next 2 sc, then one more sc into body, turn
3/2 sc in each sc, 1 sc into body, turn
4/ sc all the way across, sc into body, tie off. 

I used buttons for the center of the eyes.
